Yes, I can burn zed bodies with a can of fuel and either matches or a lighter in IWBUMS.
And it can spread. So be careful, it can also get out of control if the conditions are right. And multiple bodies will burn from 1 fire if stacked. I havn't tested it past that since my characters never last long on Apocalypse.

Bookshelf window barricade : No clue, if that works that would be awesome.

Burning zombies with gas is not a new thing, it could be done previously and it's a good way to get rid of junk.

Container type items in front of a window could be passed through prior to IWBUMS, now you crouch over low containers or items, but you still can go through tall containers (tested with a fridge).

You have "always" been able to burn zombie corpses, or even live ones (although painfully slowly).

You can stack 1000 zombie corpses on a campfire (for example of another way to burn zombies) and light the campfire and all 1000 corpses will turn to ash (if stacked properly).

If fire spread is turned on, it can spread. I usually put my campfire down surrounded by sand or gravel to minimize the spread.

Lots of things can block windows. Using 3 boards will still allow some light in, but 4 boards blocks a window entirely.

I see,very intresting. I asked about the fridge/bookshelf because i attempted to baricade my windows with a couple of large bookshelves made from carpentry

Always keep a fire extinguisher handy. Fire spread can in rare spots of bad luck burn down a whole town. Otherwise torch away. As noted above it isn't new, there's lots of features in this game you stumble upon and think "wow, that's new" only to find out nope, it's just not documented except 20 versions ago on a list of features added. :)

Oh..nice to know,glad to have a couple of them on my storage. What about Guns? Are they still overkill?/Not worth it? I noticed that the zombie spawns are overwelming.

I didn't see a huge change, they still draw zeds like a dinner bell, you can still bunch them up into a tight pack of sardines and dump ammo into them. I haven't personally used them except for the first couple of days of build 41. I mainly use it to pull a crowd then leave the area. I suspect at higher levels you can be OP with guns.

Oh i thought they'd put silencers to make them more useable.

Easiest way I've found to prevent fire spread on your corpse pyre is just pull all of the weeds within two or three tiles of the fire, maybe a couple more for good measure if you have a messy pile. Last I used this feature (some time ago) grass tiles without the grass object on them weren't flammable.
